Nursery

As soon as we found out that we were having a boy we got started on the nursery right away. We turned the room we were using as our "office" into the nursery, it was a lot of work and organizing to clear out that room! Allan wanted to add some detail to the room so he put up the chair rail and made the squares. I knew I didn't want to do a "theme" for the nursery, i just wanted to keep it simple with blue and brown as the colors. I saw some bedding in a magazine that I loved from Restoration Hardware Baby & Child that was blue and brown dots and stripes, so we designed the nursery with a blue and brown dot and stripes theme! It turned out just they way we wanted it!

I ordered the border from RH Baby & Child

We found this crib at Babies R Us ... I thought it looked perfect for a boy and it converts into a nice looking full size bed as well! We bought wood letters and Allan painted them!

And of course a rocker...it gets a lot of use!
