Boy or Girl? Name?

We couldn't wait to find out the sex of our baby! I checked the Chinese calendar and it said it was going to be a boy... so I was pretty sure that there was a baby boy in my belly :) Allan did mention he wanted a girl first...so he could have "daddy's little girl" but I just knew it was going to be a boy! I started planning the nursery decor on it being a boy, I really didn't even look at girl things cuz I just knew it was a boy! So after 20 weeks of waiting... and man did that seem like forever... we had our ultrasound that showed us without a doubt it was a BOY!!!!

BOY!!

Now that we knew it was a BOY, we had to figure out a name for the little guy! This was so hard for me... I had a million girl names that I liked, but i just wasn't loving any boy names. I had picked out Levi Allan Eckert but Allan wasn't set on Levi. We knew we wanted Allan as his middle name... but we had a hard time coming up with a first name that we both loved! I can't even remember all the names we had picked out... but my sister-in-law mentioned the name Carter, and Allan REALLY liked that name... I was still kind of stuck on Levi... but after a few weeks I also decided that CARTER was the right name for our baby!
